Your listeners want to know what is playing. The CxM Radiostatus Panel shows them right on your website: the current track with its cover, the presenter, the listener count and the most recently played songs. The panel is free and works with laut.fm and LexyCast.

What the panel shows

  • Current track: with its cover
  • Presenter: who is on air
  • Listener count: how many people are listening right now
  • History: the most recently played songs

Visitors can listen right in the panel. If you like, you can add a request box for your live shows.

Requirements

  • A website running PHP-Fusion v7.
  • A station on laut.fm or a LexyCast stream server.
  • PHP must be allowed to open outbound connections (allow_url_fopen) so the panel can fetch data from laut.fm or your LexyCast server.
  • The folder infusions/cxm_radiostatus_panel/cache/ must be writable.
  • For request box entries from guests, the panel uses the captcha (Securimage) of your PHP-Fusion installation.

Which CMS suits your station is explained in our guide CMS for radio stations.

Download

You can get the panel for free on GitHub: CxM Radiostatus Panel v2.0

Important: Download the file “cxm_radiostatus_panel-v2.0.zip”, not “Source code”.

Installation in seven steps

  1. Unzip the file and upload the cxm_radiostatus_panel folder to the infusions/ folder of your website.
  2. Make the cache/ folder inside the panel folder writable for the web server.
  3. Log in as administrator and open the infusion administration.
  4. Install Radio Status.
  5. Open the Radio Status admin panel.
  6. Add at least one stream: display name, source, laut.fm station name or LexyCast address, panel position and who may see it.
  7. In the PHP-Fusion panel administration, check where the panel is placed and enable or move it if needed.

Setup only takes a few minutes.
